Ian Linnegan recently completed a major consulting assignment with Internet (Bermuda) Limited. He has established contacts with IBL's technicians and home page authors. His independent training/consulting service will focus on the many business opportunities waiting for those wishing to link into the GLOBAL INFORMATION SUPERHIGHWAY. Discussions will include how to best exploit the Internet's business potential and the options available to secure an effective 'ELECTRONIC STOREFRONT' presence on the Internet.
OTHER SERVICES
Our office supports two multimedia PC systems with sound, graphics and video features. We also provide a half day course reviewing potential PC applications in a windows-based, multimedia environment. Topics covered include :
Overview of Microsoft's latest products, including Powerpoint, Publisher and Access.
Illustration of how the new breed of computer applications can inexpensively provide a tailor-made seamless working environment for every client. The demonstration includes building Access/Microsoft Office Scheduler/telephone-fax/Word applications into both a single user and networked environment.
Scanning documents onto hard disk for storage and/or editing for further output (applying OCR techniques).
We also develop Multimedia Computer Based training programs using TOOLBOOK from ASYMETRIX CORPORATION. Full sound, text and graphics, with interactive and navigating tools are used in developing company presentations.
