Linnegan's escape the bombing ..

The Linnegan family escaped the bombing in Glasgow by following their Dad to Troon. He was working in the shipyards. James Linnegan (senior) is seen with his eldest son James as they are walking back home from Ailsa Shipyards.

James junior was 15 at the time and had just started working for his Dad!

The family then included James and Mary (Edmission Stuart) and the three boys James, Archie and Charlie. Mary was not yet born.
